Labrador, mans best friend, is one of the friendliest dogs, highly intelligent, very energetic, quick to train, which is an essential, needs doing, for the sake of the dog and yours. They makes an excellent family members for people that can take them for at least one long walk and play a day, don’t forget the other 3 walks either.
They seem always happy, nice coming home to see an excited friendly face. Kids no objection, they love them, just be aware they are animals… so keep an good sensible eye out. Looking after the the dog is easy, brush them once or twice a week, go for a swim with them, they love this and also keeps the coats healthy… sea is great for them, lakes too but always be aware of your surroundings, people around you, not every one appreciates a quick hello from your dog.
Labradors are known for their excellent appetite, they have a don’t stop till I get enough mentality, they are just like a hoover… so careful monitoring their food intake is essential. Our Labrador has always been fed Dog Lovers Gold food, this is brilliant food, no fillers, clean and healthy food and gives our dog a great active life, shiny coat, she seems very happy with this… you can find their website here.

Kara is an active lady, goes to the park every day socializing with her friends. She goes to the beach or woods regularly. She loves dragging, playing with 6 ft tree trunks as you can’t call them branches no more and when possible roll through the mud and lay in puddles. She is friendly, says hello to other dogs. Very easy dog, brilliant loving character.
