Garry was supported by the great Kevin Montgomery , yes the son of Bob Montgomery who wrote many songs for Buddy Holly. Kevin is great singer / songwriter himself leaning towards folk kind of music and went on to deliver a great set of songs by him, his dad and as a fan of… Bruce Springsteen. Noticeable were his song ‘Nothing’, beautiful stunning song. Also ‘Heartbeat’ title to the well known drama/soap and ‘I wish I were Blind’ a Springsteen cover.
Garry been in town for the day, doing the tourist stuff on the Magic Mistery Tour, what else

would you do in Liverpool? And while here became the proud owner of another brick in the Cavern’s famous wall.
Around 21.00 Garry Tallent came on stage. Garry better known as Springsteens base player was playing guitar and lead singer playing all his songs from his new rockabilly album ‘Break Time’ some covers too like ‘Rampage’ by Los Straitjackets, Apache, Telstar, Tornado’s cover and Jimmy Helms ‘Move to Japan. Also a brilliant cover was ‘Pink Pedal Pushers by Carl Perkins. And as a last one everyone was waiting for Bruce’s ‘From small Things…..’ Songs were brilliant and adapted to live shows. He was backed by a great band of well oiled musicians…. And after breaking his guitar/strings and what else was breakable the show finished two hours later, great music, smaller venue which made this show really intimate too.
That’s not all folks….

After the show Garry accompanied by his daughter Olivia (brains of the merchandise department when not in Uni) took all the time to meet and greet, taking selfies with everyone.

What I noticed was obviously of some stupid people asking questions how is Bruce….. But fow funny is it that Garry was asking the fans the questions which was great and different, brilliant!
