Bruce Springsteen.. what can I say, I was about 14 years old, hearing him for the first time, way back….. little more…. right back in 1984!!
As A kid, I had to save as I had not even enough pocket money to buy the
album Born In The USA… glancing through the shop window in my hometown… a shop that is no longer there, finally the proudest moment of my life arrived, I bought the first ever Bruce Springsteen record.. a maxi single I’m on Fire on vinyl (for the younger audience: a plastic disc with grooves in and a A and B side) soon after many more followed…starting with BITUSA as most people my age I presume.
I have seen Bruce and the band in the various different countries during tours, most memorable being shows in Wembley (London UK) as for me the venue is the pop temple of Europe.
Over the last few years Bruce been really active again and brought out some new work, Western Stars and most recent Letter To You.
Broadway:
Bruce had a residency on broadways Walter Kerr theatre, 236 shows running from October 2017 until December 2018.
In 2021 Bruce is returning to Broadway, this time it be in St James Theatre, shows running from June-Sepember 2021 a total of 31 shows.
Bruce currently has the various projects on the go.. wait and see what 2022/23 will bring for the fans.
Rumors:
Apparently, a new album is ready to be released, similar to Western Stars, unknown date as yet.
There is also a boxset rumor, aka tracks 2 going around.
Tour:
